12-month / 12,000-mile repair warranty
If a part we installed or work we performed fails within 12 months or 12,000 miles, we make it right — parts and labor. Here's the plain-English version.
What's covered
Parts we supplied and installed, and the labor to install them, for 12 months or 12,000 miles from the repair date, whichever comes first. If a covered part fails, bring the vehicle back and we replace it and redo the labor at no charge.
What isn't covered
- Wear items in normal use: brake pads and rotors wearing down, tires, wiper blades, bulbs, filters, fluids.
- Parts you supplied. We're happy to install customer parts, but we can only warranty the labor on them.
- Damage from accidents, overheating after a warning, racing, off-road use, neglect, or work done elsewhere after our repair.
- Used or salvage parts installed at your request (these carry the seller's warranty, if any).
- Diagnostic fees, smog and VSSI inspection fees, and towing.
How to make a claim
Call (916) 427-7664 with your invoice number (or your name and the vehicle) and describe the problem. Bring the vehicle in; we'll inspect it, confirm the failure, and fix it. Please don't have another shop work on it first — that voids the coverage on that repair.
Smog and VSSI inspections
Inspections are pass/fail state tests, not repairs, so they aren't warrantied. If your vehicle fails a smog and we perform the repair, the re-test within 30 days is free.
